Flux for high silver brazing alloys
Flux for high silver brazing alloys
The flux which is used before brazing, protects the basic filler metals during heating.
It dissolves impurities and reduces oxides which impede the brazing alloy flow. Its viscosity allows the flux to be carried away by the filling metal and to be rejected on the outside at the end of the brazing operation. Even when using this flux, the metals to be joined still have to be cleaned in advance.
