Mobil Arctic SHC
Synthetic lubricants which contain only polyalphaolefin (PAO ) type hydrocarbons.
Applications:- Mobil Arctic SHC 226E and 228 : ammonia-based refrigeration compressors and those using R-12 with very low evaporator temperatures. May only be used in compressors using other fluids if miscibility has been confirmed. Active gas turbocompressors.Mobil Arctic SHC 230 : alternative hypercompressors usingNH3.- Mobil Arctic SHC 234 : heat pumps using R-12, R-114 or R-142b with compressor temperatures of up to 120°C.
